Eilean Donan
Eilean Donan : This Icon of Scotlands road to the Isles has been depicted countless times, Yet it still demands we survey its fine walls. Dating back to the 6th century and the Irish Bishop Donan. The castle had a chequered history but finally was reduced to ruins during the Jacobite uprising. Restored in the early part of the 20th century to an original ground plan and completed in 1932.
