Waverley : A collector of my pointillist work asked me to produce a piece looking west from North bridge in Edinburgh. The brief was for a sunset, which set me alight hence this vibrant piece.
Pointillism allows one to really demonstrate how light can transfer colour around a scene. This work gave me the freedom to extend the technique especially in the glass roofs of Waverley station which occupy the centre of the view.
